I practice Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, developed from the work of American psychiatrist Milton Erickson. This approach is highly individualized, as each session is tailored to the unique needs of the patient, ensuring that no two sessions are ever the same, even for similar concerns. The method emphasizes building rapport, diverting the conscious mind, and employing indirect suggestions rather than direct ones. This creates a permissive and accommodating environment for facilitating change.
I trained at the London College of Clinical Hypnotherapy in the UK, as well as with two healthcare professionals in France: Eric Mener, a professor of primary care, and Anne-Claude Mener, a psychometrician. After years of integrating hypnotherapy into their practice, they now share their expertise by training other healthcare professionals to use the E2R method, aimed at improving patient well-being and promoting healing.
When appropriate, I can incorporate into the treatment plan.
